- .fastdir is a feature as mentioned from Climate. Desinged to work in the
- 1.2 OS. I have found it can create checksum errors sometimes so it is
- best to remove it. The Climate disk also comes with a program that when
- ran will check all directories and delete the .fastdir file. If you were
- using Climate and the disk had several files having it made things lots
- faster, but again I found that it came with a price. I still use Cli-Mate
- occasionaly, I have found it is one of the best file copiers/image
- viewers in the 1.2-1.3 OS system. Grant you that moving to a 2.+ system
- opens a whole new world of possibilities.
